The "Universe X" repaints are a bit disappointing.  But it looks like we won't have to wait long for a proper Series 3 (and also a 7" Robot Santa):

whoa! That series 3 lineup looks nice.

I have a hunch that Leela figure could be in her lingerie. She always wears that red see-thru negligee that looks like a dress. That would makes sense to go with the Fry figure too. Hard to see from this photo but I would wager that Amy might be in her underwear as well. If not, she would just be a straight-up rerelease which wouldn't make sense since everyone else is either updated or new.

Hermes looks like he's in his limbo costume from How Hermes Requisitioned His Groove Back.

The two chases are tough. Maybe Bender with the red "Heil To The Chef" apron? That second chase almost feels like that bartender alien from the nudist planet in Benders Big Score. That would be an obscure one but Space Pope is sort of out there as well. Can't wait to find out.

I almost bought some wave 2 when they came out, but they sold out so quick. Glad i got out of it, I am way too addicted to completion to buy one an then not buy them all.

Never understood the logic behind blind boxing and limited edition figures. The ebay resales make more money than the original creator.

The only way it makes sense is if,
a) toy companies don't like profits, or
b) the toy companies are also the ebay resellers!

I wish these things were easier to come across on the internet in the UK, outside of eBay. I have seen them in places like Forbidden Planet IRL, though. It's just a bit of a distance away to the nearest one, for me.

Here's a clearer picture of Series 3.  Still not sure what the top row mystery one is or what the pink dress Leela is.  I'm pretty sure the Amy is Chubby Kid Amy.

I think you are right about chubby kid Amy. The Leela one is 50s Leela from "Roswell that Ends Well." In this clearer picture you can see her red poodle skirt. The chase could be a poppler but now I'm thinking maybe one of the Amazonian women? The silhouette looks like hair to me. Can't wait to find out! Does anyone know when these are to be released?

It is pretty Poppler-y.  Maybe Ndnd?  Something random like the Grand Midwife lady from Amphibios?  I think Fry might be "Bachelor Fry" and you're right about Leela, she's got a poodle skirt and a beehive.

Free Waterfall Jr. is a good guess. I was also thinking maybe Petunia? I agree Space Pope will probably be the rarest. I doubt that is a golden chef Bender though. I don't recall that  ever happening on the show. My guess is Bender with his other apron. (Heil to the Chef)

Could the top row mystery one be Zoidberg with an open/cracked shell?  His hands are a little claw-shaped and what I thought could be a cape, could be his tentacles/mouth instead (see the purple chase in the pic up above).

Oh man, that sucks. I was sort of hoping they'd do another blind box release with the new Hulu episodes
