Whoo-hoo...I've been posting my stuff in General for a while and thought it time to get a new fanart thread of my own. Plus I have all new, improved, and perhaps even lazier fanart than before.

I start with four new ones

This is in homage to "Whacking Day". Colored on Photoshop7


These are all in colored pencil on sketchbook paper.

FJ: disparaged, tired, whatever. I was going to write a companion piece where Fry tries to comfort her, but she's just tired from doing income taxes. I don't get out much.

Evil Leela is very nice! And I love the others, too. Your colouring is lovely as always.

Blue covers?  I love blue covers.  Blue blue blue blue blue!  that's too sweet for me... but I've been inspired to do a psychotic drawing from this warm moment... (But I promised "Slade" I'd make him a banner for avidgamers.com/teentitans, sigh...)
Shaucker, do you find yourself being monopolized or ever having to "prioritize" your free time?

 Everything I do right now artistically is for my enjoyment, yet I still have a shitload of obligations.

Why blue? I wanted a darker tone, and I had already used a lot of cooler greys. Plus it blends really nicely.
I think it's overly sweet too, I'm one for the "Leela by herself" stuff. But I need the Fry practice.

Yea I found I always wind up giving Leela's loose hair like Princess Peach Toadstool, only purple.  I like it rattier like you have it...

Shaucker, I must compliment you on your first batch of work; your style makes Leela look adorable in every picture you draw of her.

That couch one is amusing as well.

I love the last one, with Leela looking up at the picture on the brick wall. To me it conveys the most emotion out of all of them.  I think her posture is perfect. BTW, it was awesome to include the cycolps' in the sewer. Nice touch.

Thanks for the replies. Your support is what keeps me doing all my indepentdent, non-obligatory artwork. With you, I'd just sleep all day.
I have a lot of new stuff ready to be scanned, so expect non-recycled stuff within the week. And I just got me a Rotring Art pen, it's rather spiffy.

For everyone that enjoyed "Couch", lemme provide an amusing little anecdote to go with it.
 For an end-of-the-year art exam I had to do a big piece made up of drawings about myself. One of them was "your favortite place/place you like to go a lot". Naturally,
everyone did things like Hawaii, or their room, or equally cliche things.
As of that time, because of study stress and late night painting, I had been falling asleep on my couch an awful lot. (The effluvia that surrounded me was not unlike that in the picture.) I was cimmended by my class for my creativity, and it was one of the few bits of that project I really liked enough to scan/keep. Okay, you're all sick of me now...

-Yes, Stairway to Heaven is good people for the first five or so minutes 
-Mr. Sparkle, from 'In Marge We Trust'. A mascot for a japanese detergent.
-I have no idea, usually people just ask me why the bench is made of bricks.

The bench is made of bricks because drawing them in colored pencil makes me sexually aroused, all right?
