No problem  ;)

Yeah, I'm waiting for the result and wondering how it would look like. (That's not meant sarcastically ! )

I've got a hard one for you people, i need a screengrab of the PE building that is taken EXACTLY from the side. I need it because of this

Whoever finds it gets a free pixel  ;)
And my eternal gratitude of course  :)

With "side" you meant the water facing side, right?

I've gone through Season 1-3 now, though I did it very fast. Sadly I didn't find a picture in the EXACT right angle, here is what came near:

I hope I could help.

@germanfryfan
What would be best is a picture that is excactly from the side, no matter which side. If I have that I could use it as a background picture in the 3d program, and then scale all the parts to the exact right size.

But anyway, I am still to model the 'water side', and I didn't have a lot of good reference pictures, so you're screengrabs are still very much appriciated. Thnx!!  :)

I used to make Futurama wallpapers and I'd like to do some more... one I'd like to redo is this scene:

But I'd need a higher resolution screenshot of the background!

In the real scene, Bender is zoomed out much smaller (I partially edited it out and redrew him). If you could get that shot of the background, that'd be superb, thanks.   ;)

Thank you both very much.. it was the ones with the smaller Bender that I was looking for, so I could draw a clearer & shaded Bender overtop.

Hey nerds! I'd like to have a screenshot of the professee. It's in 'Teenage Mutant Leela Hurdles' around the 17th minute. It's when Leela's parent opens the door and you see him with long hair from the front.

thanks in advance!

Hope the quality is good enough.

If not, someone with the 4th Season DVDs must help.   :(

Where does one go if they want some scanart done for them?
I'm looking for a nice, crisp scan of the Sharkapult in the Museum of Ancient Weaponry in A Taste of Freedom, without Fry and Leela and with a white background...

This is the section I'm looking for, but the BMP version was too big for Imageshack:

Fast scanned, with some mistakes:

The grey (on the thumbnail black) background is set as png-transparency.

Idan is going to kill me, because I scanned that, but didn't work on the game  :nono:

Nice scan, gff. How did you do it?

Freaking Awesome!!

Any chance of filling in that teeny tiny bit of wheel that I cut out accidentally?

I'm putting this baby on a t-shirt!
Maybe I'd need to put in a Shark-a-pult title so people know what it is!  ;)

the new Shark-a-pult: Now with 5% more mistakes!

edit:

Sorry DDie, forgot about the explanation:

I'm using JASC PaintShopPro 8. Set the original Frame-Grab as the background layer and resize the immage to at least 500% as big.
Then I add vactor-graphic layers in which I draw every line that causes a color change with bezier-curves. (The general outline in black, shadings in the color they need). The next step is another vector-layer in which all other lines are redrawn (the wood, or the net on the sharkapult i.e.).
Then copy the first vector layer (the outline + shadings) and convert it into a normal-graphic layer. Fill out the colors.
After you've done that, get the vector layer with the other lines on top. Resize it back to 1/5 th and you got your scan.

(Make sure to save the big picture (the 500% one) in a file-format that keeps all layers, in PSP this is the .pspimage format)

That's awesome GFF! Although Idan's not going to be happy that you're scanning this twice and not working on the game...  ;)
I see no need to do it also, as that's better than I could do.

Actually I didn't scan it twice Kyle   ;)
I only edited the original! That is why I keep the big pictures saved with all layers.

Thank you very much for that chunks  :)

Though I have to agree with Xmpel, there are scan artists around here who are much better than me.
Take Mercapto for only one example.

Ahh, I should have realized that. My mistake.

Also thank you chunks, for the compliment, but Xmpel is right that's a matter of opinion. And like GFF said there is definately scan-artists better than me as well (such as Xmpel here).
