@germanfryfan What would be best is a picture that is excactly from the side, no matter which side. If I have that I could use it as a background picture in the 3d program, and then scale all the parts to the exact right size. But anyway, I am still to model the 'water side', and I didn't have a lot of good reference pictures, so you're screengrabs are still very much appriciated. Thnx!!

I used to make Futurama wallpapers and I'd like to do some more... one I'd like to redo is this scene: But I'd need a higher resolution screenshot of the background! In the real scene, Bender is zoomed out much smaller (I partially edited it out and redrew him). If you could get that shot of the background, that'd be superb, thanks.

Thank you both very much.. it was the ones with the smaller Bender that I was looking for, so I could draw a clearer & shaded Bender overtop.

Where does one go if they want some scanart done for them? I'm looking for a nice, crisp scan of the Sharkapult in the Museum of Ancient Weaponry in A Taste of Freedom, without Fry and Leela and with a white background... This is the section I'm looking for, but the BMP version was too big for Imageshack:

Freaking Awesome!! Any chance of filling in that teeny tiny bit of wheel that I cut out accidentally? I'm putting this baby on a t-shirt! Maybe I'd need to put in a Shark-a-pult title so people know what it is!

the new Shark-a-pult: Now with 5% more mistakes! edit: Sorry DDie, forgot about the explanation: I'm using JASC PaintShopPro 8. Set the original Frame-Grab as the background layer and resize the immage to at least 500% as big. Then I add vactor-graphic layers in which I draw every line that causes a color change with bezier-curves. (The general outline in black, shadings in the color they need). The next step is another vector-layer in which all other lines are redrawn (the wood, or the net on the sharkapult i.e.). Then copy the first vector layer (the outline + shadings) and convert it into a normal-graphic layer. Fill out the colors. After you've done that, get the vector layer with the other lines on top. Resize it back to 1/5 th and you got your scan. (Make sure to save the big picture (the 500% one) in a file-format that keeps all layers, in PSP this is the .pspimage format)

Actually I didn't scan it twice Kyle I only edited the original! That is why I keep the big pictures saved with all layers. Originally posted by Xmpel: Originally posted by chunks: ask Kyle_M or Germanfryfan they're the best In your opinion. That's an opinion, not a fact.
Thank you very much for that chunks Though I have to agree with Xmpel, there are scan artists around here who are much better than me. Take Mercapto for only one example.
