Thanks...and don't worry, I have the uncanny ability to make everything I say sound satirical, so don't expect a lot of dramatics all throughout.
Shippy? Yeh. Despite my comraderie with TLL, I'm still quite a believer in Fry/Leela   :D.
This fic is gonna be one of those "stuck on a planet together for a period of time and develop feelings" things. It'll turn sour when they get back, and Leela can't handle it anymore.
Oh, and Leela let the ship crash because she knew it couldn't be stopped. Same thing happened in Roswell.

Edit: Hey, a TOTPD!

I've just submitted part two of "You Should Only Have Snoo-Snoo Once" of my SpyOrama. It can be read at ff.net.  In this one, Jinx meets an old flame, enjoy.

Thanks all. Crash, Philip_J_Fry, and JBERGES: I've included scenes 2 and 3 for your enjoyment (or to disgust you; it's your choice). And Venus, I wouldn't read to much in to Fry being concerned (although thanks for the idea  ;) ). It's merely jealousy.

Anyway, here's scenes 2 and 3:

Again, please post questions, comments, or criticism.

I've crossed The Matrix, little of Spider-Man, and Tomb Raider together. A program that the government created to destroy any country has gone wrong. They have the FBI take it to be destroyed but a spy (Zap believe it or not) catches it before hand. He has set out to capture Leela and kill her if she doesn't surrender to his whims. But she puts up a fight before hand. And Fry and Bender and Drew (my character see link at bottom) have to save her. And the world. Ba ba ba! Sorry for the double post!   :(

 http://img48.exs.cx/img48/9748/drew1.gif

And plus I did this on the computer, (my scanner is frizting) so don't mock me that it's bad! And the only SPidey thing is that Bender gets some cool stuff insatlled into him that gives him spider powers kinda.

Here's a preview of part three of "You Should Only Have Snoo-Snoo Once".  Jinx has to deal with her kidnapper and you will get to learn more of her past.

I know that I'm basically just posting my entire fic here, but here's scenes 4,5, and 6. Before you read, those of you who don't know all that mumbo-jumbo that I use in my scripts (INT, EXT), you just need to know one thing. "V.O." means voice-over, which basically means a character is talking to himself. That might come in handy. Anyway, back by less-than popular demand, here it is:

So, whatta you think? I know, it's pretty bad, so that's why I would really appreciate comments. Thanks.

Really funny stuff, Kryten.  I aspire to someday match your ability to string jokes together so gracefully.

EDIT: Gorky:  I like your writing as well, but do you think Leela’s mind would be thinking along those lines, never mind expressing itself clearly with such candor, right after Fry screwed up like that?

Best of luck to both of you on finishing your works.

That was one of my problems when I was writing that scene. I realize that the whole idea of Leela's mind expressing itself like that was, in the first place, a bit hard to believe (never mind the clarity and candor). But, I thought that I'd try it and see if it worked. That may be one of the scenes that will need to be re-worked later on.

Kryten, that's the most kick-ass fic (or rather, excerpt of a fic) I've read in a long time.  I really appreciate the way you work the sight gags of the show into a prose style story.  I eagerly await the full version!

Right now, my fanfic "Delivery to Mobius" is in the works.  It will be out either this weekend or next week.  I'm posting it to The Leela Zone website.  Thought I'd let you all know!

Even though my sister ripped up the rough draft I wrote, I still have the fanfic in my memory!

Hello everyone, glad to be able to come back again.  I'm finally breaking out of the shell that I imposed around myself for the last few months, and am trying to get myself back on track.  I've started up my classes again, as well as writing.  I've put up part five of my Futurama/Dr. Who fanfic, Leela Squared on TLZ, and hope to have NMFAG 2 finished up later on this summer or fall.  I'll try to get back into posting again, so let's go one more time.

Well, I've finished with part 3 of "You Should Only Have Snoo-Snoo Once".  However, the story isn't over yet.  In part 3, Jinx confesses to having a relationship with RJ.  Amy fans will want to read this at ff.net and get more info.

Remember I was harking on about releasing a fanfic in the very near future 6 months ago?
No?
Remember me? Who I am?
No?
What I do?
No?
Am I new to you?
No?
Then you do know me?
No?

Sorry, got side-tracked.
Yes?
Well anyway, I've decided to abandon translating it into Russian and will trim it slightly, which should please Kryten, but I'll be darned if I get rid of 72 pages thankyouverymuch.
Bitter?
No!
No of course not.
( :p)

So, baring that all in mind, I should be releasing a fanfic in the very near future.
Also my next fanfic is coming along nicely.
What?

Hope it gets posted soon!  And when it does, I'll keep you all 'posted'!  No pun intended!  YES!  It's finally done!

Two things:

1: My newest fanfic, "The ButterFry Effect" is now up on The Leela Zone.  It's my attempt to do something slightly more ambitious; it's plot driven more than just joke driven.  There’s even a bit of action and ship involved.
(Everyone:  Go back to just comedy, damnit!)
Oh, and I know the title is currently misspelled.

I’d greatly appreciate it if someone would take the time to review and critique it in the review thread.

___
2:  Fanfiction.net hates me for some reason, so now you can only find my work at TLZ.  I was suspended from the site with my stories removed.  I got this E-mail:

Main reason for removal: "Not allowed: interactive, chat/script, real person, mst, and etc."  The above story has been removed because it violated the guideline detailed on the upload page.  This infraction has been recorded and once you reach a certain limit, your account be automatically banned. Moreover, as a result of this infraction, you will not have upload access for a period of time.

WHAT?!  I write in episode transcript form… like many other people, Kryten and Fryfan just to name a couple.  Was I singled out?  This makes me angry…

Don't worry, JBERGES.  FF.net pulled my story, "You Should Have Snoo-Snoo Only Once" from their site.

"Main reason for removal: "Not allowed: interactive, chat/script, real
person, mst, and etc."

However, if the reason why they removed my story because I write in script form is a load of Bullshit.  I've been doing that for a year, and why, if that is the case, would they start to pull my story off now.

Allen, kryten or any other fanfic expert is reading, can you please shed some light on this subject?  Since you are have been doing fanfics much longer than I have.

fanfic.net has decided to crack down on script format. Evidently they havn't allowed script format for a while but have just now decided to crack down on it. There's an anouncement about it on the home page. I don't know why they don't like script format i think they're being ridiculous. But they're the ones in charge, so goodbye script format. Just post your scripts on TLZ.

and not to be nitpicky fryfan, but gramatically speaking shouldn't your story be called 'You should have snoo-snooed only once'?

I'm using Snoo-Snoo as a noun, not a verb.

Also, I think it is messed up that they don't allow script format.  That is how I've been writing and I'm not changing it.  If they won't accept it then goodbye to ff.net.  Because I look at this as a form of censorship.     :finger:

Yeah I know what you  mean CGEF is a good site but lacks the most important thing.  It's called listening to the fans!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I still like CGEF but TLZ gives more attention to the people who make the site possible any guesses it's us.  Anyways I just sent my fanfic to TLZ it will probably be there in a few days.  But you were right Venus it's harder than it seems to write a fanfic.  Anyways it's called It's A Wonderful Life forgive me if you read it and it sucks but this is my first so go easy on me.  It's a little short but like Fry said in When Aliens Attack two lines can take an hour.

  Peace out,

Yeah, I just got an email from ff.net saying that my fic The Chronotons of Frynia had been removed. Bastards! Well, I'm going to boycott FF.net now and I suggest you all do the same if they're going to remove good stories just because their not in prose. I prefer prose in general, but it's good to write script too. I find it stupidly ironic that a fanfiction based site would remove script-based stories considering the fandom is based on things that mostly use scripts. Perhaps that's the point though. Okay, I'm done ranting...

Edit: I'm making an update at TLZ soon. I think I'll badmouth and call for boycott there too. What better way to reach the Futurama fanfic community?  :)

Okie-dokie.  I've never really posted any fan fic before, and I've certainly never used a thread like this before, but, I'm putting up my fanfic "Out of Africon 9" a bit of a time, and, seeing as how I've actually completed the whole thing, I will be putting up bits every day.  And you don't have to worry that I'll get writer's Block and not post any for months.  Ah, writer's block.  The only known cure for writer's cramp...

BTW, and I don't wish to sound up myself - cough*Branigan*cough - but I've just scrolled up and noticed a lot of ranting about how FF.net isn't accepting the script format.  I agree - it's a stupid idea.  There are some people who just write better in that format.  Perhaps some of us here who write in the prose format can "prosify" some of the script formated fanfics?  Just an idea.  And definately not intended to take away from the accomplishment of the authors here.

You could just convince all the Futurama fanfic writers to pull their fanfics out of the ff.net and any other fanfics out of the website.  It may not do much, but who knows?

ff.net still wouldn't notice or care, it's a free site so it's not like they lose any money at all if you don't post your stories. And there are so few authors that write Futurama fics that even if every one of them pulled every story they ever wrote, even the non futurama ones i doubt it would even make a dent. If anything having less stories may stop all the crashes and stuff so by boycotting them you just might wind up asisting them.

Boycotts only work if by boycotting someone they are actually losing something.
