Yeah but the difference is I want to help him be a better person, Deca would be happy to leave the woman a cow if she looked good and had some money, from what I gather anyway.

I would take the complete wanker and attempt to help him away from that, if it didn't work I would go, dispite his rank and title, or looks and money, do you honestly think Deca could say the same about the women he's mentioned?
