Futurama changed throughout its run

Season 4 has some wonderful episodes (including my favorite TDHAIP) but it also had some weak ones. But after all, that was surely one of the best, if not best, season.

I'd say half and half... but most of the bad episodes are in season 3. APTR, ALOHO, and IDAR anyone?

ALOHO was derfinately not a good episode put me to sleep.   
IDAR that was okay but not gr8. But APTR I have to disagree to you there I loved the episode to pieces!

I agree, I don't think APTR is as bad as others think. Except for maybe the fact Bender got a little too whiny. I cringe whenever I watch that ep with other people.

I agree with what you said about Season One, but I'd like to point out a few things:

Actually, I'd say Season 2 is the worst season "adult content"-wise, and that Season 3 was much more tame, with the possible exception of RTEW and AWITM. And Season 4, as Dr. Morberg pointed out, wasn't so bad.
