You are new, so most of us will cut you some slack.  I'll allow a mod to do the formal introduction.  Also, don't double post.  Just edit your previous post.

Stephen Hawking, (The wheel chair) appears in both Simpsons and Futurama, but his personality is the same.  In the Simpsons, he talks about stealing Homer's Donut shaped universe idea.  In Futurama, he steals a whole bunch of ideas.
Hawking Hole, Hawking Chamber and shoving Fry in the Hawking Chamber.

O.k, not really jokes, but still.  The music in the zoidberg ep "why must..crustacion" The music in the Gladiator styled ring is used in a simpsons ep.. ALso the word Kudos in Lisa Lion Heart as said by, Zapp, Hermes and Fry.  When homer says 'i can't let this happen, i won't let this happen and i can't let this happen' simlar to something fry says something similar.

A door in the Planet Ex. Ship is similar to something in the simpsons.  When (depending on what is needed) is another room.  The simpsons the door near the steps is either a basment or a cuboard.

Also Carl and Lenny say "I hear that" so does Fry in an ep...i forget but its there somewhere.

The music from the gladiator-ring is the fight theme from Star Trek (TOS), so it would make sense if both used it at some point (although I can't remember when it was in The Simpsons, so I can't say specifically).

"Kudos" is an actual word used by actual people all the time... I don't know if it would count as a joke , it's just how some people talk. The same goes for "I hear that". It's just a phrase that is commonly used.

I'm not sure what you mean by the door in the Planet Express Ship being whatever is needed. I think the ship is pretty consistent with what it shows. Perhaps you are thinking of Bender's chest cavity, which is mentioned in the commentary.

The "I can't let this happen..." line sounds valid, although I don't remember it on the Simpsons (or Futurama specifically, but I have an image of it being said by fry in fry's voice somewheres in there, so it mus be there, right?).

Yeah it is another word for Congratualtions, just a little trivial things i thought i'd add.  (I use it all the time.)

The 'why must i be a crustacian in love' ep, there is a room with a high tech black board, to my recolection its a once off room that was never used again.

Also something else i picked up.  In a Simpson's ep, (a newish one where the babies riot springerfield, which cause most of the ppl to turn against children so they destroy children things in the town, it also starts off with a Steve Irwin parody.)

Anyways, magie crawls into a vent in the simpson house and homer tries to get her out with a coat hanger but he gets caught on it and starts turning around.  He makes a 'Whoop, whoop' Zoidberg sound for a fair while.  If anyone know what i'm talking about reply cuz it sounds almost like zoidberg, (although billy west is not mention in the credits and i think that it is just the voice of homer's interpretation of it.)

Actually it's meaning is more expression of praise and accolade, a big compliment.

It's a reference to The Three Stooges, so it's more the two shows making references to a third, than reusing jokes. Plus if it's a newish episode (after 2000) it's more Simpsons copying Futurama, since Zoidberg have done the Curly sound since season 2.

Ah, you said that there was a DOOR that was used to lead to where ever was needed, not that there was a room that only appeared once.  It's a big ship, we haven't necessarily seen all the rooms.

Yeah that was my point.  That Simpsons copied Futurama.  Which makes perfect sense, cuz Matt Groening created both shows so he can do 'pretty much' what eva he wants with them.....xcept futurama [TV] (to point, as it is cancelled and censorship stuff)

Yep 2.  Also, in one Simpson's halloween eps, there is a gremlin on the side of the bus, similar to that of the one in Futurama on the Scary Door, (the one where Fry dates A computerised Lucy liu Robot)

They're both parodies of an episode of "The Twilight Zone" (or "The Outer Limits... can't remember which). In the case of Futurama, that was just one part of a series of insane references, not really a joke by itself.

I wasn't sure where to post this as there are too many simpsons threads....

Anyhoo, I just watched the simpson episode Missionary Impossible and at the end it had a scene in which Bender and other characters from most of the cartoons (except PJ's which is claymation) that FOX cancelled.
The last time I saw this episode I wasn't really "into" or had heard of Futurama (I know I know    ) and I was quite surprised at the blatant reference; it was like they purposely scrapped the end scene for the episode and chucked that in to get back at FOX for sticking so many good shows on hiatus.

I must be well out of the loop! I mean, I remembered the episode but didn't see that coming!!

Another joke on both shows is that there apparently is an element called "Balonium"

Simpsons:
Skinner: We can buy real Periodic Tables instead of these promotional ones from Oscar Meyer.
Edna: Now who can tell me the atomic weight of balonium?
Martin: Ooh, delicious!
Edna: Correct, I would also accept Snacktacular.

Futurama:
Cubert: "Your explanations are pure, weapons-grade balonium! It's all impossible!"

Any thoughts?

Neil McNeil and SlackJawedMoron: It was a Twilight Zone reference in The Tree-House of Horror episode and 'I Dated a Robot'. The title of the actual episode was 'Nightmare at 20,000 feet'. Also I believe the other little bits in the Scary Door Episode were also taken from other episodes of the Twilight Zone.

Has this been done?

Roswell That Ends Well
Leela: Everyone put your seatbelts on.
Bender: Ah, they kill more than they save.
(The ship crashes and Bender flies through the windscreen)

That One Where Marge Becomes an Estate Agent
Marge: Homer, this car doesn't have any seatbelts.
Homer: Ah, they kill more than they save.
Lisa: That's not true, dad, you're thinking of airbaaags!
(Homer drives off and almost tips the car)

In 300 Big Boys the 99 cent store became a $299.99 store. Didn't a similar thing happen in that Simpsons episode where the Radioactive Man(?) movie is being made?

Here is not a _very_ exact copy, but I liked both jokes anyway:

BBA:
Fry: Wow, there's a million aliens. I've never seen anything so mind-blowing. Ooh, a reception table with muffins!

In simpsons, where Homer was helping Burns to play some bad jokes, something like:
This guy impressed me greatly, and I am not so easily impressed... Look! A blue car!

I think I can draw an even better joke connection, take the same scene from Futurama and compare it  to the B-Sharps episode in which Homer is in a room full of famous musicians. George Harrison walks up to Homer and Homer starts going crazy when he finds out that there are free brownies rather than caring, as he did before about the musicians.

Another similar joke i saw was when i was watching "Problem with Popplers". After Lrr ate Free Waterfall Jr. he got some of the "vibes" from the hippy that madfe him high.

Lrr:"My hands are HUGE. They can touch anything but themselves. Oh wait..."

Instantly, i was reminded of the Simpsons episode when Homer is hooked on Weed , when Otto and Homer are standing together after the concert looking at their hands.

Otto: "Ya know, they call em fingers, but i've never seen em fing. Oh wait..."

*bump*

2day i was watching "Itchy, Scratchy, and Poochy" on the Simpsons and Homer asks if the cartoon is being broadcast live and the producer says something to the extent of it'd be a pretty bad strain on the animators drawing a live show.

Its similar to the intro subtitle on AOI 1 which says "Painstakenly Drawn before a Live Audience".

I somehow doubt that The Simpsons, The Critic, or Futurama has a monopoly on jokes about being stoned, and the jokes on the three shows really weren't THAT similar.

In 'I roomate' Bender (sobar) walks down a street with all these neon signs saying things like no liquer license, water fountain etc.  simailr again in Simpson's when Lisa becomes a Buddah, al these Neon signs saying Amish, church etc.

although that' parodied of many movies, Tv shows before, but i thought it was worth pointing out.

There's a few jokes in Life in Hell which ended up in the Simpsons "If your arm get amputated will it be waiting for you in heaven?" for instance. Also there's a Life in Hell catoon called Akbar and Jeff's Cryonics Hut which has heads in jars.

its not really a joke, but rather a charcter cross over of the Australian guy, who is in the simpson's a couple of times, most noted of him running a marathon when bart cheats, the same ep that Bart becomes part of a boy band and NSYNC do a cameo.
I actually wish there was more cross overs the other way, i would love to see Zoidberg in the Simpsons, or a sci-fi simpsons ep where the futurama characters are there.  Perhaps the Simpsons movie will answer the prayers, only time will tell

I have a couple of points to make about ideas that first appeared in the Simpsons, then migrated to Futurama.  These aren't jokes, just ideas.

- In the 6th season episode "Bart's Girlfriend", Lisa briefly fantasizes about the boy who works in the library.  Oddly, he is dressed exactly like Fry (who is dressed like James Dean in "Rebel Without A Cause, I know, I know).  Red jacket, white T-shirt, and blue Jeans.

-For some reason, the robot Burns builds in "Treehouse of Horror II" bares a faint echo of Bender.  To me, anyway.

-In the episode "Bart Gets Famous", we see the head of Kitty Carlisle (sp?) in a dream sequence.  This is probably the genesis of head-in-a-jar technology.

Any others?
