"T: The Terrestrial": Omicron Persei 8 is 1000 lightyears away from Earth, and it takes a millenium for an Earth TV show to reach that planet. Yet, when Fry made the "SOS" sign, Bender could immediatelly see it, without any dealy.

According to the show, the speed of light was incread in 2208.

I suggest he is just very old/in the past because the hotdog stand has got wheels...
But I think it is just that it takes a 1000 years, really good continuity there

It's annoying me how I can't figure out whether or not The Finder Outer is a show from the 21st or 31st century. It has a mixture of both past and future stuff in it, plus the confusion regarding the waves travelling from Earth to Omicron Persei 8 doesn't help.

The only thing that puts me off a little is the hovering car and alien that's on the bulliten board the cop is looking at, though it might possibly just be some supersticious pictures made specifically for the show. Besides that, nothing really screams that it was made in the 31st Century.
It could theoretically be a show filmed in the 31th century, but set in the 21th one. Regarding humanity's historical "knowledge" in Futurama, they might have gotten some details plain wrong.

Hmm. Back when the show was originally broadcast, US television was done through good ol' analog. Back in 2008 or so, all channels changed to digital broadcast only, and rabbit ear sets no longer worked. Thus began the great TV dry spell at the Basket residence because we were both too trifling and poor to upgrade to a converter box or TV with integrated digital receivers. I hereby submit my highly extrapolated explanation that between the show's original run and the current run, TV broadcasts have been likewise upgraded to running on pure magic instead of digits to allow for instant broadcast regardless of distance.

Could be something like that. But I was just speculating it in regards to this "theory": According to the commentaries, it takes "old light" (i.e., light that was emitted before the speed of light was increased) 1000 years to reach Omicron Persei 8, whereas "new light" (i.e., light that was emitted after the speed of light was increased) travels much faster. Presumably Fry's "SOS" sign falls under the category of "new light".

When Fry and Leela are watching Hypnotoad in 40%LB, the TV shot is clearly from Planet Express.
I'm not sure if that's a huge mistake or the animators were actually so lazy that they didn't bother to draw/animate the TV in Fry and Bender's apartment and just stole that shot.

Used to be there. I think it disappeared beginning with the DVD movies. There was also a door in Fry's bedroom in HHRHGB that Morgan used to directly run into the building hallway. Bender's apartment is a lot like the PE building and the Simpson's house with walls and rooms magically appearing, moving, and vanishing as needed. You know like The Simpson's openings where Marge pushes Homer through the back of the garage into the living room with the car but the living room is usually beside the garage on the left.

It probably got restructured, due to the amount of times the apartment took some bad damage.

How did Bender survive being the lava pit under the PE building without any injuries whatsoever? He barely survived being in it for a few seconds in JB, but here he didn't suffer anything from being in it.
Maybe that spray keeps the effect for a few weeks.

Could be, but he isn't gold anymore... As for that, he was only in there for a few seconds, shorter than in JB. Bands down, bands up. Magic suit Amy

Leela is technically her last name. Not that last name really means anything other than position.

Not quite as impossible as you think. In "Insane in the Mainframe", Bender demonstrated a capability his head has that grants it far more flexibility than he normally utilizes.

Yes, I know it's the joke, but still...
On the commentary for "Godfellas" (I think), they joke about how Bender appears super flexible in some shots but they never explain how.

The meatmarket has a sign that says "K" in AL1, then I searched for "K meat" on google and this was the top result:
I'm guessing it was a reference to K-Mart.

Where was this specified? I thought it was made clear plenty of times that "Turanga" was the family name.
Her name is Turanga Leela and Turanga is her family name. But it is not her last name, as it does appear last in her name. The term 'last name' is quite literal. In East Asia, family names commonly appear first in people's names, thus using the term 'last name' as interchangeable with 'family name' is only really applicable in the West.
