I loved that Time Travel song. I still do. It's far from forgettable.
The Late Phillip J. Fry was arguably the best episode over hands down. Each of those futures represented something that's been in Science Fiction, or a few may have been just put in there for the sheer fun of it. It's Futurama, not Doctor Who. Not everything needs to be 100% realistic. The ongoing plot should have been enough to keep you at the edge of your seat, not scratching your invisible beard thinking about what possible flaws you can point out.
Also, I loved Fun on a Bun and Inhuman Torch. The premise of Oktoberfest and Love sound a bit far fetched, but the episodes themselves were executed brilliantly. In Fact, I wouldn't exactly call a sun-creature from the sun really far fetched. I mean it's Science Fiction, and that's what Futurama is all about. The dude who wrote it writes plenty of other Sci-Fi stuff as well.
Oh, and the future with the intelligent pink aliens isn't "too far fetched". They basically explained that it was human evolution, which is still ongoing. (Although it is weird it takes 47 million years until such actual progress is made.)

I think I may have misused the term 'forgettable' in my last post. What I was trying to say was that I didn't think it stood out as much as past songs from this show have. For example, I didn't think it was as catchy as 'Robot Hell', or as funny as 'I May as Well Jump'. It definitely was memorable, though. I can easily recall the tune, along with some of the lyrics. I suppose the Pink Aliens future does make more sense when explained as Human Evolution, and I didn't exactly catch on to the fact that most of those futures were parodies of sorts (I know, I know, I'm Stupid ). For people who don't catch on to that fact, those futures seem very odd, the way I did. I do think that this episode is very well done, and Is one of the show's very best episodes. That doesn't mean that there's not any flaws in it, however. For example, I think the episode could've done without is all the sex scenes with Bender. I Felt like there very just pinned on there to give the episode an unnecessary edge. However, Like UnrealLegend said, the main plot was great enough to perfectly conceal the few faults. Also, thank you for noting my Invisible Beard's existence. It shall receive an extra stroke tonight in honor of you, Unreal.

It's not because the episodes were "shippy".
For example, Overclockwise was a abomination of an episode, do you see me praising it for it's shippy elements?
Also, the "overrated shippy episodes" show the best of Futurama's writing and creativity most of the time. Like Parasites Lost. Yeah, it had some really good "Shippy elements", but it was still hilarious at the same time with the crew wiggling through Fry's worm infested bowls. And look at The Devils Hands Are Idle Playthings. Shippy-ness played a big part on that episode, but it never stopped you kids from praising it, now did it?
Fun on a Bun was also a great episode, because:
A) Was Really Funny B) The plot moved along quite nicely, and the story was actually really good. C) Everything was executed brilliantly.
This seems to be the case with most "shippy episodes", hence why I find them to be so good. I don't know about others, but I find them good for mainly these 3 reasons. Again, it purely shows the best of Futurama's writing abilities.
Saying that an episode is overrated because it's very shippy is just plain stupid. Leela and The Genestalk was shippy as well, do you see people praising that episode?
My whole post just goes to show that your post is invalid in so many ways.

No, but the thing is, people still loved that episode.
But people don't praise "Leela and The Genestalk", even though that episode had more than enough of it's fair share of shippy moments. I liked Overclockwise only for its Bender and Professor plot. I hated the Fry and Leela subplot, as it felt very rushed and tacked on
No, those weren't very good either. Professor one was meh, but Bender+Freela one sucked.

Forgive me if this has been discussed before. In some episodes such as The Route of All Evil, Bots And The Bees, the 2010 X Mas special, and The Six Million Dollar Mon, it shows that Hermes and his family all live in space.
Is that space house of his in NNY? Or does he live in space and work in NNY?

People do seem to praise Leela and the Genestalk quite a bit, way more than Overclockwise.
Overclockwise people used to love but for some reason now hate. I also get the feeling that LatG (much like Three Hundred Big Boys) will be praised way more years after it aired.
Also what's wrong with the Bender segment in Overclockwise? I think it was you that used to praise that subplot...
LaTG was good in different ways. There was part of the plot that centers genetic-engineering. You got Fry vowing to love Leela no matter what kind of thing she turns into. I think LaTG is the best Leela-centered episode in the entire series (not including series finales and other exceptions).

I am curious...When the Simpsons put Leela and Fry on some innocent asteroid (or moon) togheter..
I am sick about the two of them (man this it thick)...Fry and Leela expressing their marriage.

Right, but what statement are you actually trying to make about it? And how does it pertain to their brief appearance in The Simpsons? From all I can tell, it was a throwaway cameo with absolutely no further meaning behind it. Not to mention it pre-dated Meanwhile by over a year.

So, The Simpsons cameo was brought up arbitrarily following the words "I am curious?" Okay then... Plus, at the end of Meanwhile, The marriage is effectively negated. So who cares?

Does information about Meanwhile really need to be spoilered at this time? Leela's Homeworld blows LaTGS out of the water.
I agree.

Some members here have outright admitted to not having seen it yet. Not everyone is in a country that's up-to-date with Futurama, or has Comedy Central or access to downloads where they live. It's just the considerate thing to do.
