^ I just said The Holiday Spectacular and Overclockwise. Also, don't quote things that aren't relevant. ;)

Oh, I see. Well, as the episode definitely originally aired before 2011, that means it was The Holiday Spectacular, then.

Where exactly does Farnsworth live?   Does he live in Planet Express, or does he have his own apartment and then goes to work?

He has a bedroom there and I'm pretty sure it was outright confirmed in "Fry and Leela's Big Fling".

We saw (what I assume is) his bedroom in The Lesser of Two Evils. To to mention he's there all the time and the show's never done anything to suggest he resides anywhere else.

The bedroom is also in Bender's Game and "The Tip of the Zoidberg". Cubert also has his own room in "A Clockwork Origin".

He's also got his own bathroom with a bathtub in that episode, so it's not like the bedroom is just someplace to crash when he's worked a long day.

Also consider the very first episode - he's already in his pajamas when he answers the door and meets Fry, Bender, and Leela.

I forget the episode, I think it was a newer one, he's heading out the door with the others after work and comments that he doesn't know where he's going because he lives there.

Geez guys, this thread has become a place for asking trivial questions about the show? Anyway, it looks like its gonna be a while before it gets picked up, if it ever does. In all honesty, I can't think of a network that would even want it.

I wouldn't be surprised if they hold back any renewal news until closer to "Simpsorama" in an effort to boost its publicity, somewhat.

I think it should end here, although I'm not completely against new episodes.
The newest run gave us plenty of great episodes, but for every great one, there almost always were two mediocre/bad ones. I wouldn't want the mediocre/bad episodes to further outnumber the good ones, as further seasons would likely entail. I also don't think that any more seasons are needed; Other than the 'The Other' subject (which has actually been dismissed as pointless), the new run tied up all the loose ends, and didn't leave us hanging with Fry and Leela's relationship or how the other character's lives will go the way the first run did. Also, I feel that the CC run ended perfectly; It had a streak of excellent episodes right at the end, and topped it off with a perfect crowd-pleasing finale. Further seasons would kind of ruin the huge impact 'Meanwhile' gave off, as it would take away it's final finale tone.
Like I said, I'm not against new episodes or seasons, but I pretty don't think they're necessary.

Does it sometimes seem like Hermes hates everybody he works with?  He was glad when Bender got broken in BITW.  And he laughed at Susan Boil, too.  Plus, Zoidberg is the biggest victim of his wrath.

So, maybe Hermes is one of those rich people who thinks he's better than everyone?

I just watched it on my DVD again and noticed something (Which many of you probably have too). But whatever. I also know it's a non-canon so it doesn't have to make sense but I just want to point this out.

In the 10 feet Bender segment, when the people at planet express has to stop giant Bender, Leela is there, so Fry ran away from Leela, he never met Bender in the suicide line, but he didn't die. He probably became a delivery boy (Pizza, not packaging). But was still lonely, then met giant Bender and they became friends. But if Leela installed his chip, she did her job, so she would have went back to Applied Cryogenics, and kept her job. So how did she end up at planet express?

In the If Fry Never Came To The Future segment, he never came to the future. The rip in space shows Leela, Bender, Farnsworth and Zoidberg (Maybe Hermes and Amy, don't remember). If Fry never came to the Future, he wouldn't run away from Leela, so it would have been a normal day for her. Bender would have committed suicide. Now how could they both end up working at Planet Express? I am confused.

It's accurate, but only to within one-tenth of a plausibility unit. Accuracy and precision aren't the same thing, and we don't know exactly how large the gap between reality and a reality that's off by one-tenth of a plausibility unit is. In a universe that's off by one-tenth of a plausibility unit, winna could be some sort of mighty galactic entity hellbent on devouring all of creation. And in this reality, I would never do that because all of my stuff is here.

The actual answer is that in the real world if Fry changed even the slightest variable his dick would fall off and he would become a cop by eating a scorpion that had been on his healthy purple berries.

Also, Bender would become a pony robot. CRUSH; KILL; DESTROY; SWAG.

Hated that article that came out when the show was announced to be cancelled.  The one at the end where it said, "Please enjoy these last season's episodes.  They're the best episodes we've ever made!"

Is it me, or does that sound like out of from Rachael Ray's 30 Minute Meals?

They said that they felt as if their last batch of episodes were some of the best that they've ever made.

I'd disagree personally, but it's not like they were just outright lying. They probably were very proud of them and I'd say that "Meanwhile", at least, is up there with their best stuff.

So, what are some episodes that you disliked, while everyone else loved? The first one that comes to mind for me would be 'Inhuman Torch'. I didn't like how, for lack of better words, 'cartoony 'this one felt. The high voices gag felt like something you'd see on an educational children's program, Flamo was much too far fetched and was desinged and voiced acted very poorly, and the overall 'Liar Revealed' story felt very unimpressive. I do think, however, that the episode had the potential to be better than it ended up being, had it gotten a few more re-writes.

What are some of yours?

"When Aliens Attack".

The first act is average. The second act is very good. The third act is about as dull as they get, and it pretty much spoils the episode.

That's not to say it's bad, by the way. It's a solid 6/10

Pretty much all of season 7.

Especially "Fry and Leela's Big Fling", "Calculon 2.0" and "Game of Tones".

I also don't like "The Sting" as much as most people seem to. I do like it, but I'd never put it up as one of the show's all-time best episodes. The cheap "it was all a dream" ending loses it a lot of points, for me.

Agreed. I feel the same way about "Parasites Lost" as well. Both episodes barely scratch my top 30.

The Bots and the Bees, I only really liked the intro, and I was somewhat amused by the binary robot reproduction science. I didn't care for the idea of robots giving birth. The voice acting and lack of a real orchestra made it feel cheesy.
Also, the professor built a space ship, how come he couldn't install another extention slot in Ben?

Devils Hands has an amazing song, but the rest of the episode is average-to-good. Not too many truly good jokes.

I really liked the ending of The Sting and it's one of my favorites.
Devil's Hands I never have liked that much, but it has really good plot with simple idea. I'd say it's overrated.

Fun on a Bun. It's well-done, but I just don't like it much personally.

I'd also disagree with that. Season 7B was okay, not real great, but pretty good. Definitely did not have the best episodes they ever made (Except Meanwhile). It had some serious stinkers, and some pretty good eps as well.

I loved the Final 3, I don't care who disagrees. The Final 3 episodes really felt like closure, for a series like Futurama. I don't know about the all time best, but they are definitely Classics in my book. 7B for me, had about 4 classics, and 3 good episodes.

I'm not a fan on 'Fun on a Bun', either. Like 'Inhuman Torch', i felt like this was was also too far fetched, with future cavemen and human sausages and whatnot. Plus, the love theme throughout the episode seemed a little forced, and overall was unnecessary. They easily could've made an episode about Oktoberfest and a war without the overbearingly shippy parts.

Although 'Late Phillip J. Fry' was a classic, and I do think it was very well done, I was unimpressed with the futures they went to, as once again, they were too far fetched. A future where there are only women? A future with super intelligent little pink aliens? A future where Giraffes rule the Earth? Seriously, there could've been much cooler ones. The only ones I enjoyed were the first one, with the demolished NNY, the one with the war on robots, and the end of the world. I also didn't like the song at all. It was sung horribly, had a terrible beat, and was very forgettable. However, the episode had many other good points, which obviously cancelled out all of it's faults.

All the futures were good parodied representation of sci-fi futures. Some of them could have been replaced with more realistic, but they were part of the montage, so I think it works as they were funny. The song, I think, was one of the best songs presented in Futurama. It's very strange, but forgettable?
