Guys, I think next time, wait until the episode airs in the USA until deciding to make a Review Thread. Because 1: Downloading/Piracy is illegal, and isn't allowed to be discussed on this forum, and sometimes could result into a immediate ban. And 2: I don't wanna be spoiled on what happens before I watch it! Also 3: I called these next threads. Not a big deal with me, but still, when someone calls it, you can't go against it lol

How about I ruin the plot in spoiler tags to prove I AM FROM THE FUTURE! Planet Express people are fighting (Amy/Leela, Fry/Bender, Hermes/Zoidy) and so Farnsworth decides upon a team building retreat, who's run by this over-confident leader who decides it's a good idea to get hitchhikers to be his assistant. Hitchhiker is obviously monster, but the catch is that this is all planned. But Fry and Bender being the only two "survivors" don't buy this, so they shoot the leader to dust. Then, after a fortnight of speculation, Morbo and Linda say it's a homicide. Bender and Fry are tempted by this reward and so a hilarious exchange of expressions ensue. Also, I'm a 17 year old girl from Australia, not involved in Futurama.

Someone tweeted @slurmed saying the new episodes appear on the French iTunes before they even air in the US, dunno if he/she was telling the truth or not but that's probably how the episode got leaked.

Futurama is being sponsored on CC by Hot Pockets? Ugh. I would have expected that for Aqua Teen Hunger Force or Tim and Eric Awesome Show, but Futurama? Shameful!

Thought the Bender and Fry (or should I say "Frender" ) trust situation at the end was hilarious. At some points before someone was eaten by the monster, I was expecting that person to be eaten, but I got fooled and the other person who I wasn't expecting to be eaten...well you know the rest. 8/10, the writers are keeping this hot streak. I want to see if Eric Horsted could continue the streak next week.

WOW! I think this was a bit better than last week's episode. This was the best of the Season. I couldn't believe how good this was. Nice well pacing, Lots of plot twists, Seeing Frender (Benders Game special feature selection thing), having the whole trust thing play out so well, this was definitely really, really, great. I thought them referencing facebook again was dumb, and Leela eating Fry's kidney was pretty stupid.
But all in all, this was a great episode. For now, I'll give it a 9/10. But it is so close to a 10/10.

And 2: I don't wanna be spoiled on what happens before I watch it!
That's a stupid reason. Why would anyone in their right mind click on this thread without expecting spoilers? I personally never enter a review thread until I've seen the episode. On the topic of the episode, I thought it was pretty good. (If for some reason someone's obliviously reading this without having seen the episode, be warned that I'm not censoring any spoilers.) I'd compare this episode with "Calculon 2.0" in that it didn't really have anything about it that irritated me. Funnily enough, it's by the same writer as well. I was little grossed out by Leela eating Fry's kidney, which felt like it was mostly there for shock value. The jokes around it were pretty funny though, (such as the Professor getting a burger-kidney transplant) so I won't hold it against the episode too much. The rest of the first act was solid. I enjoyed the appearance of Nine and his many feet gestures, as well as the cameo from Wernstrom's pet fish. All the trust issues were entertaining, but they did feel a tad forced. As for the whole alien-on-the-ship thing, I was impressed that it managed to constantly surprise me without becoming predictable. The fact that it actually ended up being a trust-building program after all took me by surprise, since I wasn't expecting a repeat of what the fake Professor claimed earlier. One thing the episode nailed was tension. I was at the edge of my seat during the scene with Hermes and Zoidberg in the vents, and it was funny having Leela and Amy smack the crap out of Hermes' dangling legs. The scene with Bender and Fry outside the ship was... weird. I'm not sure exactly how Fry manged to wear Bender like an Iron Man suit, but it was amusing to see, and I've always secretly wondered what it'd look like if someone were to be inside Bender like that. Now that I've told that secret, nobody better post that on Facebook. Additionally, I liked the nicknames "Friender" and "Lamy", mainly because they're almost opposites of each other (okay, not really). The resolution was neat, and I like how Dan McMasters didn't consider the fact that Fry and Bender wouldn't believe him (I sure as hell wouldn't have). It was relieving to see that there wasn't any bullshit Deus Ex Machina where the eaten crew were teleported through a portal in the alien's stomach into a magic room where they all survived or something like that, which I was expecting. I'll score this one an 8/10. It's a pretty solid effort that had pitch-perfect pacing.

Now this is what I can call a great Futurama episode. The plot was sci-fi, every member of the crew was used perfectly, nearly every joke here worked, there were multiple plot twists and fake outs everywhere, it was just simply a hilariously great episode. Even the ending, which I really thought was going to be done really lazily and or awkward, was actually done in a funny enough way that it was satisfying to sit through, despite how obvious it was.
Overall: 9/10, funniest episode of the Season by far.
And now if you excuse me, Frender Frender Frender, Frender Frender Frender.

Maybe it was part of the setup, since the whole thing was set up. Or maybe they accidentally killed him.

I've been hearing rumors on other fourms that PIRACY is actually what really helped killed the shows new run off faster than anticipated by CC's demo. department. If I may break it down: Young people - like Futurama - download it free - only lasts 7 seasons. Old farts - like the Simpsons - still buy cable - 25+ seasons. Me - buys Futurama DVD's for all - feels like douche when show is canned next year.
