More stuff I caught when watching the episode for the second time:

Nixon saying: "One heck of a bowler." When Nixon became President, he had a bowling alley installed in the White House.

A scene I would like to have seen in "Lrrreconcilable Ndndifferences" was the Professor coming into the main room and asking: "What are all these barnacles doing on my groin?" with Fry and Leela whistling and acting innocent.

Also, Scruffy has some feelings for his washbucket ... Look at those strokes when he's emptying the mop into it ...

Awesome episode. Clever, hilarious, and disgusting on so many levels.

Did not know that. Nice.

I just re-watched the last scene again, when watching Lrrreconcilable Differences. When Sweet Clyde says, "Everybody back in their zone?" and the camera shows everyone cheering, you can see Hermes has his old, fat body back. i.e., there's none of that svelte, post-Amy-nauseated-at-Elzar's physique. I know, I'm a loser. Or another loser beat me to that observation. ;)

Sorry, that was up either here or the Infosphere a few hours after airing.

I think the subplot with the emperor was the weakest one.  People watch an episode where they switch bodies because they want to see the personalities they love, interacting with the character designs that they love.  They don't want a completely new character to get the spotlight.
I think they should have replaced nikolai with a recurring character.

I would agree except that Washbucket was also a new character and was one of the best things in the episode.

Sorry to disagree, but I thought the robot emperor was hilarious, especially when in the washbucket and paired with Zoidberg in Fry's body.

i disagree here, if they replaced nikolai with a recurring character then it would be like all those other shows, movies, etc. that everyone changed bodies, adding him gave it an awesome twist.

also how the characters changed bodies numerous times with each other was original

I personally loved Nikolai, he delivered many great jokes and is one of the better new characters this season. Wash Bucket too, the appearance with Scruffy in Amy's body is a gold moment.

It was a great episode, thought it was awesome especially the fact that the professor was in Bender's body. Leela and Fry getting it on in different bodies was mad funny. Great ep.

I consider it to be among the best of this season, gave it 9/10. The switching bodies plot worked out really well, especially with Fry and Leela.

I've only just seen this episode and I loved it. I'm not sure I agree with those comparing it to 300 big boys as for me this was a far superior episode, up amongst the best Futurama has produced so far. Loved the Zoidberg/Professor makeout scene, not only was it hilarious but it was also quite touching that Fry/Leela could see past their physical appearances.

I was happy when I heard Futurama had been renewed for a 6th season but I had my doubts it would be as good as it was in its prime. Glad to see my doubts were misplaced as this season IMO has been just as good as season 2 (my favorite of the first 4 seasons)

Didn't feel like browsing the whole thread, so sorry if this has been posted already, but I just saw it.

Her voice sounds so Amy-ish at the start, but in the middle she sounds different.

I really liked how not only there were some great laughs, but how Farnsworth actually solved the problem with a new equation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8M4dUj7vZJc I really laughed at the Japanese guy when his arm got cut off! :laff: 9/10

I can't believe how highly rated this episode is. It started terrible and got better near the end. I like Fry and the Wash Bucket in the apartment, that's about it. The old Futurama would have been able to do this episode right, but the new Futurama just craps everything up.

I would ignore everything Bianca writes in her reviews.  She is so obviously biased against the current run of episodes that her opinions about them are essentially worthless.

I wish they had made Nikolai into a recurring character throughout the CC run. I think he was a pretty funny and interesting character that should've been recognized more. He could've replaced Calculon's type of character throughout the last half of 7A and almost all of 7B, as they both put themselves on a high pedistal and are oth very ritzy.

I went back and rewatched this one after seeing so many positive comments. I'm glad I did because it is much better than I remembered it being. Good story, good jokes, and some nice voice acting. The only thing I didn't care for was the the postcoital (shudder) scene between Zoidberg and the Professor. The scene in Elzar's was disturbing enough and I think they should have stopped there. It's always a little weird when people in body swap stories (almost inevitably) take advantage of their new bod to screw around.
