It's about time we got to see those trailers!

No thanks to you US PEELers who did nothing but taunt us! Curse you! Nah, you guys are alright.

Off topic: Freako, did you download the Blow Parade thing I sent you?

After-watching edit: Now I'm too excited to care about anything other than new Futurama.

Oh enough with you Aussies and Brits and your "Wah wah, I can't see the new ads on my computer." Australia, your toilets flush in the opposite direction and you are both a country and a continent; Britain...you have a queen. And both of you have really neat accents. Trust me when I say that the only thing the United States has on either of you is these ads.

However, I must commend your dedication, Freako. You are the mountain against which all us mere anthills of nerds must stand and feel inferior.

As for the speculatin': Uh...I got nothing. But I agree wholeheartedly with this:

In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela is going to be nothing like any of us imagined. After seeing the ad Gorky put up, I noticed the scene where Fry jumps up while wearing the robe takes place in the same Tie-Dye forest we saw Leela in a Coffin in the first ad, and Bender is wearing the robe while plugging himself into the machine in the second ad. The only concrete plot points we know so far are the Eden part and the Doomsday part, but we have no idea how they relate to each-other and these commercials seem to suggest they're not the only things going on in the story. This episode is definitely going to be a wild one.

Hang on... Amy suggesting an orgy?
Wait a minute... I know how to draw!

I'm guessing that clip was from the Proposition Infinity episode.

The "end of the world" part of the line suggests Amy says that in In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela.

You're right, I misheard her line as "This ends the world's debauchery"

Leela wasn't there either, but lets pretend she was.

I believe that she said "I guess this calls for some end of the world debauchery. Who's up for an orgy?"

Is anybody else getting the Search for Spock feeling from the promo material released for In-a-gadda-da-Leela? With Leela dying, being blasted out of space, and ending up on this planet? Their planet was a result of the Genesis project in Star Trek, ironic to the Garden of Eden theme we've been told.

I just saw a couple ads for Futurama on comedy central

interesting things and what episodes they might be from

~Two Leelas fighting each other (with the same hair color)
~Professor Farnsworth activating the wrong switch and getting struck by lightning(Rebirth)
~Professor Farnsworth slapping/touching a naked pink Amy(Rebirth)

There was some other stuff that I couldn't hear very well

I think they used some old clips too, so the Leela scene might have been from The Farnsworth Parabox and I was wrong about the hair

It's good to see that Comedy Central is promoting Futurama, even though I saw these ads at 12:15 EST

Could Leela have been duplicated somehow, and they wind up fighting each other? Could explain the coffin...

I suggested this in the old thread, but maybe the second Leela is actually that freaky-deaky Terminator-type Leela that the CC Insider posted a few weeks ago. In which case, that clip would be from "Rebirth."

That's not irony. That's just two things.

Either of you remember the background when you saw the Leelas fighting? If you saw the Tie-Dye Forest or that city that Zapp and Leela warp into then the fight occurs in In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela. If you see The Professor's Lab or New New York than it could be any other episode, though I put my guess on Attack Of The Killer App (the Leela-bot could have been infected with a virus or a blank bot could have been uploaded with Leela's imagery). Still, Rebirth remains likely since it'd be a chance to reintroduce Leela's martial arts skills.

I didn't actually see the promo; I'm just going on what PatchChord and Frisco reported. It really seems to me that most of the clips in these promos come from either "Rebirth" or "In-A-Gadda-Da-Leela", which would make sense because they're technically promoting the "one-hour premiere event."

Huh, that didn't occur to me, but it actually seems very obvious. The fight (if it exists) could occur in either episode.

Well, I have a different question for Patchchord_Adams: Who narrates the ad you've seen?

The wall containing The Last Supper. Nice.

Fairly good replica of the painting as well, though I have a feeling there are going to be some differences, it's been too long since I saw the actual painting.

I love that they brought it in through the employee lounge. See the destruction of the right wall. I wonder how Fry hurt himself... Probably stealing the painting. This should be a very funny episode, definitely looking forward to it.

Yeah, I was wondering what happened to Fry, too. I feel like this is going to be a caper-y, sort of slapstick episode, and the more I see of it, the less put-off I am by the lame title.

Yes! I wholeheartedly agree with this. Episodes that use all the characters (well) always get extra points from me (especially since Amy and Hermes are unfairly regulated to the backburners), and if they use all the characters (whenever they can) these new ones will have a much better chance of succeeding with me.

Also: Is anyone else disappointed to realize that all the episodes won't be airing June 24th? All this stuff from CCI has caused to forget how long a week between actually is. I'm going to smoking chicken-flavored cigarettes between airings just to calm the shakes.

I'm not disappointed at all. That's how television works. I'm very happy that Futurama's back in episode form, and I much rather that to having it all at once. Gives you time to digest and discuss.

I love a comment which causes me to Google Search words to fully understand what they mean so I can fully understand the comment. Wonderful sir! I apologize for making the June 24th date only include 2 new episodes.

Josh, why'd you edit your comment to be nothing like it originally was? As you can see from the remains of what I was going to post, I enjoyed it.
