There's an annoying song on the radio that always plays, "bad romance" by lady gaga, there is sort of a beeping noise in it that reminds me of a sound effect from the final levels of the Futurama game in those rooms where you have to complete the number code.

Quite vague indeed.

Anything written in binary automatically reminds me of Futurama.

In the Simpsons game, you fight Bender and Zoidberg in Matt Groening's mansion in the game engine.

Phil Lamarr is the psychiatrist that shows up a couple of times in Castle season 2.

That's one awesome house, Nixorbo. It'd be cool to live inside Bender's head. ;)

I walked into a shop yesterday and saw pretty much the exact same novelty gift that Fry had bought for Leela in The Sting.

I should have bought it really.

Maybe because the thing he bought her was based on that actual item?

What *is* it, actually? I couldn't quite figure it out from the episode.

I think it might be an alternative to a stress ball, presuming how leela used it.

Do you guys read hitchikers guide too, I always felt like futurama was an animated version of hitchhiker's guide.  Ex ept Bender is the opposite of Marvin, hahaha.  But Hitchikers doesn't have anybody that can compare to Zoidberg, but then nothing does.

John Travolta in that new movie From Paris With Love also looks a lot like Lars (albiet a Lars who's put away a few too many jelly donuts):

Today my physics teacher--who is Tunisian and well-assimilated, and who I believe enjoys acting like he has a poor grasp on the English language as a pastiche of sheltered Americans' perceptions of immigrants--said, "Let me axe you a question." And even though I know that mispronunciation of "ask" didn't begin with Futurama, I immediately thought of Leela's "But can I axe you something?" from "Parasites Lost."

This really only has a small bit to do with Futurama, so I'm sure it will be moved, but I had to tell someone and you guys are the only people who I could think of that would understand why this is so cool. Well she has just recently started paying attention to Futurama when I watch it. She has decided that Zoidberg is her favorite character. Well tonight right after we finished having sex, she jumped up put her hands on her hips and said very loud and proud " I had Snu snu!" I love her  I do wish I had thought to do it first though.

As amusing as the anecdote is, the more important question (for a Futurama fan, anyways) is what that has to do with Zoidberg?  :p

The fact that she only watches because of Zoidberg, and only a very few eps that I knew of, is why I was surprised that she even thought of Zaps snu snu line. Either way it was funny as hell.
